What will Workplace Learning Look Like after Lockdown?

الوسائل البديلة لحل المنازعات

Covid-19 changed the world in a matter of weeks; we no longer commute for hours each day, we don’t work in busy offices shared with hundreds of other people, and our children are absent from school.

At this stage of the pandemic, we still don’t know what the long-term effects of this crisis will be in terms of social and economic factors. Only one thing is certain – the future will bring change.

As a company that places a high value on education, professional development, cultural awareness and communication, we are keen to ensure that this pandemic doesn’t bring a stop to these things we cherish.

In an effort to ensure continuity for learning and professional development within industry, we have added new courses to our range of e-learning courses available, and are actively looking for ways in which we, at Creative Word, can continue to deliver quality workplace training safely, responsibly and effectively.

We believe there are likely to be long-lasting effects from the Covid-19 pandemic which could see businesses move to more remote ways of functioning, including, increased work-from-home options, remote meetings, webinars, and conferences, and an increase in virtual classrooms, digital learning and e-learning.

To ensure there are more options available for learners during this challenging and transitional period, we now offer almost 100 courses (many of which are available online) ranging from courses which can help you ‘Build your Personal Brand’ to ones that can improve your ‘Resilience for Times of Change and Challenge’.

Moving forward, it is likely that ‘virtual’ training courses will fill the gap created by the pandemic in essential operational training, personal and professional development, non-essential training and corporate education, with only the most antiquated firms and organizations continuing to struggle to maintain ‘in-person’ (face-to-face), classroom based training.

Similarly, many workplace learners will have had to overcome their fears around technology and distance learning with the pandemic paving the way to a faster transformation to remote, virtual education.

A positive side-effect of the pandemic will likely be that we move towards a workplace culture that encourages remote working practices such as, working from home (spending more time with family and friends), remote learning, increased global communication and collaboration, and advances in technology that link these factors.

At Creative Word, we are embracing these changes by encouraging and supporting the companies and organizations we work with in the move towards remote/distance training.
